Vancouver Sustainability Fair | 2016

[INVITATION - SYC Vancouver Sustainability Fair]

Sustainable Youth Canada (SYC) is a federally-registered non-profit completely run by youth in high school and university, operating in several regions across the nation. Here in Vancouver, our high school student-led team would like to once again extend a warm welcome for Vancouver exhibitors, non-profits, and high school alike to join us for our second annual Vancouver Sustainability Fair!

Sustainable Youth Canada will be holding its Second Annual Vancouver Sustainability Fair next month for high school students across city. This event, happening on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 12:40PM-2:00PM , will gather more than 200 passionate students from various high schools across the Greater Vancouver Area to learn about sustainability on both a local and global scale.

The fair will be held at the St. George's School Upper & Lower Great Halls (4175 West 29th Avenue, Vancouver, BC Canada V6S 1V1), where we will be hosting booths set up by various local sustainability-focused NGOs & non-profits, and booths showcasing some of the student sustainability initiatives that are happening across the city. Last year, we hosted representatives from organizations such as the Vancouver Aquarium, BC Hydro, Society Promoting Environmental Conservation, Pacific Spirit Park Society, and the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup. We’ve included a video of last year’s fair here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfhQ48AOrDc

We would like to cordially invite all sustainability-related NPOs and NGOs across Greater Vancouver to exhibit at our upcoming fair by setting up a booth. Here, you will have the opportunity to speak about your organization to students from all over the Lower Mainland in order for them to learn about both your organization’s vision for sustainability, and ways to get involved with opportunities to engage and volunteer with your organization.

In the meantime, we would also be glad to feature your organization in our online Canadian Sustainable Youth Registry and Facebook Page, connecting opportunities from your organization with our 500+ members nationwide.

Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any questions about SYC, the Sustainability Fair, or anything else. We can be reached at conference.vancouver@sustainableyouthcanada.com

We look forward to working with you!

Vancouver Sustainability Fair

[INVITATION - SYC Vancouver Sustainability Fair]

Sustainable Youth Canada (SYC) is a federally-registered non-profit completely run by youth in high school and university, operating in several regions across the nation. Here in Vancouver, our high school student-led team is especially focused on getting youth actively involved with a variety of sustainable activities, through both our own initiatives and through working with partner organizations.

Sustainable Youth Canada will be holding its first “SYC Vancouver Sustainability Fair” next month for high school students across city. This event, happening on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 12:00PM-2:00PM, will gather passionate students from various high schools across the Greater Vancouver Area to learn about sustainability on both a local and global scale. The fair will be held at the St. George's School Lower Great Hall (4175 West 29th Avenue, Vancouver, BC Canada V6S 1V1), where we will be hosting booths set up by various local sustainability-focused NGOs & non-profits, and booths showcasing some of the student sustainability initiatives that are happening across the city. This is an opportunity for students to learn more about how they can get involved with sustainable practices and local organizations, and for everyone to get in touch with trends in student-led sustainability initiatives.

We would like to cordially invite sustainability-related NPOs and NGOs across Greater Vancouver to exhibit at our upcoming fair by setting up a booth. Here, we would like to offer the opportunity for both members of SYC and the general Vancouver student population to learn about your organization's vision for sustainablility & conservation, and ways to get involved with opportunities to engage and volunteer with your organization.

In the meantime, we would also be glad to feature your organization in our online Canadian Sustainable Youth Registry, where our 100+ members in Vancouver can connect with opportunities to get involved with your organization.
